Remember that the Galaxy 2 client is yet another pseudo-app (a web-app wrapped in an Electron instance, which is a dedicated Chromium browser with elevated system permissions and potential), so you will see significantly more memory usage, but I haven't noticed traffic hogging. You can set Galaxy 2 to automatically close X client when you quit Y game, but it only works sometimes. For each integration, you must link the account in question and then download whatever client to run for the actual operations. Contrary to popular belief, Galaxy 2 is NOT an AIO launcher/manager. Not major, but it's been around for a while. The window itself protrudes by a couple pixels onto either side if you have a multi-panel setup. The Steam integration is perpetually broken you have to download a specific version and manually rewrite the version in the JSON data to prevent it from updating. No, game clients normally doesn't kill internet speed, and stuff, or killing CPU unless there something wrong on your system, or that your system is really out of date, like 15+ hardware kind of out of date, or just really low end hardware that struggles to run modem game clients. There some games are DRM free on Steam, and Epic, you have to figure that yourself, or look up wiki page on this, you find it easily via google search for wiki page. The Galaxy can provide features that Playnite has been doing for years, which is to sync your game libraries into one place, which is a library manager, you still need to have the other game clients to download your games from them, let say if you link Steam, you still have to have Steam client in order to install, and play the games, same with Origin, Uplay, and Epic. GoG Galaxy is a optional client you can use if you want, but not needed in most cases for GoG games.
